Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Cat Diary mobile application and website (collectively, the "Service") operated by Geekpoint Technologies Pvt Ltd ("we," "us," or "our"). By downloading, accessing, or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using Cat Diary, you represent that you are at least 13 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization.

2. Description of Service

Cat Diary is a photo journaling and memory-keeping application designed for cat owners. The Service allows users to upload photos, write notes, add moods, keep daily photo streaks, and generate weekly highlight reels.

3. User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use or security breach.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful, personal, and non-commercial purposes. You may not:

• Upload content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, or infringing.
• Attempt to reverse engineer, disrupt, or interfere with the Service.
• Use the Service to send spam, malware, or unauthorized communications.
• Impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation.

5. Content Ownership

You retain full ownership of all photos, notes, and other content you upload to Cat Diary. We do not claim any ownership rights to your content. You grant us a limited license to store, process, and display your content solely to provide the Service to you.

6. Subscription and Payments

Some features of Cat Diary may require payment or subscription. Cat Diary Pro is an optional auto-renewing subscription that unlocks weekly highlight reels. Payment is charged to your App Store account after confirmation and subscriptions can be managed or canceled from your Store account settings.

7. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time if you violate these Terms. You may also delete your account at any time from within the app.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Geekpoint Technologies Pvt Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. We strive for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service.

9. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Mumbai, India.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
